Profile Picture

I am a PhD candidate in the Joint Program in Financial Economics between the University of Chicago and the Booth School of Business. My research interests span empirical asset pricing, behavioral and institutional finance, and household finance. Previously, I worked as a Senior Research Analyst in the Capital Markets Group of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Beyond finance, some of my interests include:

  • Sports statistics: I worked as a Quantitative Analysis Associate for the New York Yankees, conducting sports analytics (sabermetrics) for the front office, and as a Quantitative Sports Researcher for AQR Capital Management, developing sports betting strategies.
  • Writing: I cover topics on finance, economics, and markets for The Economist. Some of my personal blogging can be found here and here.
  • Board games: I have played for the Yale and University of Chicago chess teams, and was formerly a competitive Scrabble player.

I received my B.A. from Yale in 2017 in Ethics, Politics, & Economics.
